Albert

December 27th at 9.07am our son Albert arrived. 2 weeks earlier then his due date but I guess he was impatient like his mother. Giving birth was without comparison the hardest most painful experience EVER…but hey look at the result…It was worth it!!!

Saturday night Jan and I went to a concert in KB hallen with the band kent – we saw them a couple of years ago in Malmø and saturdays concert was more amazing then the last one – which I didnt think was possible. They are my absolute favorite band and they are so talented and amazing live that it almost made me weep at one point during the concert….but then again…I have a good excuse…Im pregnant and filled with hormones:)

Wedding Date

I booked the church yesterday…we are getting married August 9th 2008….so exciting…let the planning begin!

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving….I am cooking a traditional thanksgiving dinner for 9 people….and I have only tried it once before….keep your fingers crossed I don’t burn anything:)

I know all ultrasound scan images pretty much look the same…but this one is special…our son!

This time of year is my favorite…(except for Christmas that beats everything:))

Long time no posts

It’s been absolute ages since I have written anything on my blog and one might think that it’s because nothing interesting is going on in my life…but that is actually not the case…well I guess it’s up to the individual reader to decide if it’s interesting or not but anyways….I am pregnant and we are expecting a son around January 13th 2008 and I am also getting married although that will have to wait until the baby has arrived and I have had time to loose all the weight I have put on during pregnancy! But I guess those to “announcements” are the biggest that has happened since I last posted a blog entry but of course other stuff has happened, it’s just that it all sort of fades in comparison:)

Sometimes I wonder…

How old I will have to get before I stop being so disappointed by people. There are times when something happens or someone I know does something where I just loose all respect and I judge people too harshly I think. Forgiveness is a virtue that I want to be better at. Also not juding people so much. But having said all that….there are a hell of a lot of idiots out there who behave selfishly and without thinking about consequences. Money is power….hhmmm I think wisdom and knowledge is real power any Tom, Dick and Harry can catch a lucky break and make money…..(Trust me I know a few).

I look forward to the day when hopefully I will be so wise that I do not spend my energy juding people and stop getting so disappointed in peoples behaviour….I want wisdom to just be at peace with the knowledge that I know better to stop caring how other people live there lives and act towards their fellow humans.

Here is to new friends that make life brighter!!!

I have a new friend called Jennifer. She is this amazing person that came into my life a few months, because she had a meeting with one of my clients ,that I helped organise and she bought me chocolates to say thank you…as you can imagine we were of to a great start..(chocolates and all). We had a quick breakfast together and then it has just gone on from there. We already have a favorite coffee shop in Copenhagen (Moxie’s)… I feel like I have known her forever and we have connected at this special level and I really feel lucky to have her come into my life and it makes me stronger in the belief that everything happens for a reason in life and even though in dark times, when it’s not always clear to see the meaning with what is happening, it’s important to remember that there is a greater plan then we can see. Meeting Jennifer sure was part of a greater plan I feel and I value the friendship deeply and look forward to all the fun we are going to have in the years to come. And I also can’t wait to write that book with her …you know the one I mean Jennifer. We will go to France and eat chocolate like dukes and drink wine and write a bestseller!!!
